How to partition a hard drive without lossing data
Hello, I want to teach u how to partition a hard drive without formatting in your Windows 7 and later operating systems.
The basic advantage of partitioning a hard drive is to prevent data loss, in a case where ur computer gets attacked by virus, u just format the Windows partition that is the Local disk (C:) without having to touch ur data partition.
Let’s get to work
Click on start,
right click on “computer”,
Click on manage,
partition hard drive

Click “Disk Management” on the Computer Management console,

Click next,
Enter the size of the disk u wish to create in megabytes and click next.
Change the Volume label to anything you wish and click next,
Then finish.

Check the number of drives u have.
That will be all for now.
